Critique of doubts about women's rights with emphasis on the
thirty-fourth verse of Surah An-Nisa
Ali Nasiri
Mohammad Hossein Nasiri
Abstract
Among the issues of human rights are the rights of women, some of
which, based on the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of
Discrimination against Women, have claimed that the Qur'anic legal
teachings on women, which are mentioned in verse 34 of Surah Nisa, are
discriminatory. In practice, men are superior to women. To substantiate
their claim, they cite the transfer of family management to men and the
permission of women to corporally punish their wives. In order to answer
those doubts, we first examined the position of women from the point of همانشهوژپ
view of the Qur'an and proved that from the point of view of the Qur'an,
in addition to the fact that man and woman were created from a single
soul, they were both capable of worship. , Are equal. The only criterion
of superiority in the Qur'an is piety, and gender has no role in it. Even
some women in the Qur'an are examples of all human beings, including
men. On the other hand, after explaining the necessity of having a هداوناخ و نانز یقوقح و یهقف نیون
manager in the family, guardianship in the verse means the duty of
economic management and ensuring the security of the family and the
like. The sequence of actions against the naughty woman and the concept
of beating in the verse, using interpretive narrations, also removes the /
mentioned suspicion from the minds, because beating, after preaching هرامش
and neglect in bed by the husband, is done only with a swak stick. فه
Accept. In fact, this Qur'anic instruction is intended to prevent the /مهد
collapse of the family foundation
